We are the Professionals

Interpreting services can help bring people together, overcoming language difficulties of all sorts. There are many situations in which you may need an interpreting service, and choosing the right interpreter can help promote successful social or professional situations.

Our fluent and experienced interpreters and translators in both the English and Spanish languages operate in the Memphis, TN area as well as Eastern Arkansas, Northern Mississippi, and Western Tennessee.  Hesco Services can supply quality, dependable, experienced translators and interpreters with little notice. We are LICENSED, BONDED, and INSURED and we can offer our experience assisting with worker compensation patients, attorneys, case managers, insurance cases, immigration issues, and claim investigators involving medical claims and legal issues (depositions, statements, mediations, hearings, and trials).

Although Medical Interpreter Certification is recommended and required only in the states of California and Massachusetts, our interpreters based in the Mid- South area are professional and trained in Codes of Ethics and Standards of Practice according to HIPAA laws.  All of this amounts to qualified interpreters and translators ready and capable to assist you.

Interpretation

Language interpreting or interpretation is the intellectual activity of facilitating oral and sign-language communication, either simultaneously or consecutively, between two or more users of different languages. Functionally, interpreting and interpretation are the descriptive words for the activity. In professional practice interpreting denotes the act of facilitating communication from one language form into its equivalent, or approximate equivalent, in another language form. Interpretation denotes the actual product of this work, that is, the message as thus rendered into speech, sign language, writing, non-manual signals, or other language form. This important distinction is observed to avoid confusion.

Translation

Translation is the action of interpretation of the meaning of a text, and subsequent production of an equivalent text, also called a translation, that communicates the same message in another language. The text that is to be translated is called the source text, and the language that the source is to be translated into is called the target language; the final product is sometimes called the "target text."
